Position Overview: As a Lead IT Architecture Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and leveraging emerging technologies and innovative business methodologies for the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to architect solutions that align with the business objectives of extensive projects or programs, ensuring they adhere to architectural standards and foundational principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a principal advisor and subject matter expert for an architecture team on large-scale, specialized initiatives that have a significant impact across the organization.
  • Guide and support specialists and business partners in positioning, planning, developing, executing, and monitoring strategic initiatives under your purview. Facilitate the organization and delivery of guidelines on specific technical topics that require consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Enhance your unit's strategic projects and initiatives by formulating and revising policies, standards, architectural goals, and foundational technologies, considering aspects related to data, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Identify, analyze, and diagnose critical challenges. Provide guidance and recommendations to relevant decision-making bodies and committees.
  • Represent your unit in discussions with senior management committees and decision-making entities.
  • Advocate for Desjardins's interests in negotiations with external partners and organizations.
