We are currently in search of a Commercial Insurance Advisor to become part of BrokerLink, specifically within our Sarnia branch in the Western Ontario region, on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Independent Business Unit accounts while also generating new business
  • Deliver prompt service to clients by providing expert advice, clarifying insurance concepts, and addressing customer inquiries
  • Review and process all incoming commercial documentation
  • Assist clients with quotes, establish new business, evaluate existing coverage, and update client records
  • Prepare necessary documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, and issue insurance certificates
  • Review endorsements and follow up on payment processes
  • Engage with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on behalf of clients, renew terms, and follow up with adjusters regarding claims
  • Gather additional information requested by underwriters and complete applications
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
  • High School Diploma and/or Post-Secondary Education
  • Two or more years of experience in customer service
  • Sales experience in any industry is advantageous
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in the insurance sector is beneficial
  • RIBO Insurance License is preferred or must be obtained upon hire
  • Familiarity with EPIC is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a knack for conflict resolution
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
