Director, Industrial Design and Innovation

We are seeking a visionary leader to fill the new position of Director, Industrial Design and Innovation, reporting directly to the Vice-President Innovation. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our product design, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences that differentiate our brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy that aligns with our company's vision and values, ensuring that our products meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with international design brands and luxury product manufacturers to integrate their expertise into our aircraft design.
  • Conduct research on emerging design and technology trends to stay ahead of the curve and inform our design decisions.
  • Present design concepts and ideas to customers, gathering feedback and insights to refine our products and services.
  • Lead a team of skilled designers to develop and execute innovative design projects, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to bring concepts to life.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Industrial Design or equivalent, with an MBA preferred.
  • At least 20 years of experience in Industrial Design, Interior Design, R&D, and related activities, with a proven track record of design innovation successes.
  • Strong understanding of the Business Aircraft Industry, including key players, markets, and customers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and inspire teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience leading a team and driving design innovation.
