Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Director/Instructor to lead our Recreational Tennis Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and safe learning environment for participants, providing instruction and guidance, and ensuring the overall success of our program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery: Create and implement engaging and effective tennis programs for participants of all ages and skill levels.
  • Instruction and Guidance: Provide expert instruction and guidance to participants, ensuring they receive a high-quality learning experience.
  • Program Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, including scheduling, equipment management, and staff supervision.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, partners, and community organizations to ensure a positive and supportive program environment.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Assist in promoting the program through various marketing channels, including social media and local advertising.
  • Equipment and Facilities: Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and support program staff, including instructors and volunteers, to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Program Evaluation: Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree in a related field (e.g. education, recreation, sports management) and 2+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and support staff.
  • Tennis Experience: A strong background in tennis, with experience in coaching, instruction, or program management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move equipment, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
