Job Title:

Tennis Site Director/Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tennis Site Director/Instructor to join our team at the United States Tennis Association-Pacific Northwest Section. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and safe learning environment for participants, providing instruction and guidance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our recreational tennis programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective tennis programs for children and adults
  • Provide high-quality instruction and guidance to participants
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times
  • Collaborate with other staff members to achieve program goals and objectives
  • Communicate effectively with parents, partners, and community organizations
  • Document and report program data and statistics
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager of Recreational Tennis
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children and adults of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
  • Experience in tennis instruction and program development
  • Ability to pass a background check and complete SafeSport certification requirements
  • Physical ability to move around and engage in physical activity
Work Environment:

The work environment for this position will be primarily outdoors, with occasional indoor work. The ability to work in extreme weather conditions and to lift and carry equipment is required.
