Resident Engagement Manager

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Engagement Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional resident experiences. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote resident wellbeing, choice, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and lead a culture that prioritizes resident wellbeing and choice.
  2. Oversee the development and implementation of programs that support resident engagement and socialization.
  3. Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure alignment with community goals and objectives.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations and vendors to support resident engagement and wellbeing.
  5. Support the General Manager in the organization and take minutes for Town Halls and Resident Council meetings.
  6. Develop the monthly community calendar of events and newsletter.
Requirements:
  1. A degree/diploma in Gerontology, Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, Therapeutic Recreation, Leisure Studies, Health Promotion, or Health Sciences.
  2. Minimum of one year of experience programming for seniors in senior living independent living, assisted living, or in a senior's community center environment or similar setting.
  3. Minimum of one year of management and supervisory experience.
  4. Certified to teach group land fitness and, where necessary, aquatic fitness to seniors through a reputable organization as approved by Sienna and/or willing to obtain within the first 60 days post-hire.
  5. Valid driver's license and/or special-class license (or willingness and ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment), and a clean driving record.
  6. Current certificate in CPR and First Aid.
