Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a School Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and clean hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in cleaning and maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
