Job Title: School Custodian

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a School Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in cleaning and maintenance.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 14 hours per week.
