Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a School Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse; empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 14 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
