The Retail Operations Supervisor, reporting directly to the Store Manager, plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of the retail establishment. This includes:

  • Training and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Engaging with customers to ensure their needs are met and their experiences are positive.
  • Motivating staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high service standards.
  • Managing inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize waste.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.

The Retail Operations Supervisor is essential in fostering a compliant and educational environment, setting a standard for others to follow. Key responsibilities include:

  • Exemplifying leadership and management qualities.
  • Demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communicating complex information clearly to both customers and team members.
  • Analyzing sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Providing outstanding customer service by welcoming and assisting patrons.
  • Supervising staff engaged in sales and inventory management.
  • Ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Facilitating effective communication between the store and corporate partners.

In this role, you will also:

  • Coordinate the replenishment of merchandise and manage the flow from stock to sales floor.
  • Assist in maintaining visual merchandising standards and cleanliness of the store.
  • Support Sales Associates and Lead roles as needed throughout the workday.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the retail industry.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail setting.
  • Relevant certifications as required by the industry.
