About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their homes, enabling them to live safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Offer companionship and social support to clients, promoting their emotional well-being and quality of life.
  • Travel to clients' residences, completing home visits and providing care as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns or changes to the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Compassion and empathy when interacting with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Previous experience working with seniors or children is an asset.
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Background check.
