Job Title: Community and Social Services Worker

At Improving Lives In-Home Care, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community and Social Services Worker to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes. As a Community and Social Services Worker, you will be responsible for delivering a range of services that promote independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to meet client goals and objectives
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as housekeeping, food preparation, and personal hygiene
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Implement behavior management programs to promote positive behavior and well-being
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a group home setting. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
