Position Overview

The Healthcare Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks aimed at supporting both patients and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the flow of information within the clinic.
  • Conduct patient interviews to gather medical histories.
  • Manage incoming mail and electronic communications.
  • Organize and confirm patient appointments.
  • Complete insurance and other necessary claim documentation.
  • Maintain an organized filing system.
  • Order office supplies and manage inventory levels.
  • Establish and implement office procedures and routines.
  • Input and format medical reports and correspondence electronically, as well as prepare documents for review.
  • Initiate and uphold confidential medical records.
  • Perform data entry tasks efficiently.
  • Handle telephone communications and relay messages.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Windows.
  • Familiarity with electronic mail systems.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and dynamic setting.
