Regional Sales Director

As a Regional Sales Director - Material Handling at Wajax Limited, you will be responsible for leading the sales strategy and plan for assigned regions, driving revenue growth and profitability through direction, coordination, and development of Outside Sales Representatives.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Coach and develop the sales team to achieve profitable results, motivate and counsel representatives to improve sales performance.
- Sales Administration: Manage sales administration functions, operational performance reporting, and process improvement initiatives to maximize business relationships and customer service.
- Business Planning: Develop and implement business plans covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets and promoting the organization's presence throughout all Lines of Business (LOB).
- Market Intelligence: Track market information, customer, projects, and competitor activities to identify and understand the competitive landscape for industry verticals.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish a system of reports and communications to monitor the performance of the sales team, including sales reports and sales meetings.
- Field Observations: Personally observe the performance of representatives in the field on a regular basis.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or College diploma.
- Work Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of attaining and exceeding account management and sales goals.
- Knowledge: Leadership-level industry experience and knowledge of industry sectors are assets.
