Asphalt Recycling Machine Operator

Park Paving Ltd. has been a locally owned and operated business for nearly five decades, establishing itself as one of the premier road construction contractors in the Edmonton area. We are currently seeking to employ an EXPERIENCED OPERATOR to manage an asphalt recycling machine and soil stabilization/mixing equipment for the upcoming construction season.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating heavy machinery to grind asphalt or stabilize soil/clay according to project specifications.
  • Preferred experience with Wirtgen models WR2000, WR2400, WR2500.
  • Collaborating with fellow operators and guiding ground personnel to make necessary adjustments for achieving the correct grade or mixture for the project.
  • Conducting routine pre-trip inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.

This role is physically demanding. Candidates should be in good physical condition, as the job involves repetitive bending, lifting, kneeling, and prolonged walking, particularly when changing equipment components. Operators are required to hold a valid Driver's License (Class 5) and have reliable transportation.

Compensation Range: $28 - $35
