Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team at Wellington Health Care Alliance. As a Medical Radiation Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to provide optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • CMRITO Designation
  • Membership with CAMRT and OAMRT an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Demonstrated effective communications, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with many and varied internal and external individuals, groups, and agencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Other duties as required
  • Satisfactory performance and attendance required
  • Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
  • Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired
Working Conditions
  • Available for all shifts (days, evenings & weekends) as per department schedule
  • Stand-by/On-call as per department needs
Compensation

$36.84 - $50.24 per hour
