Groves Memorial Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated and organized Ambulatory Care/Diagnostic Imaging Clerk to join our team.

This casual position provides essential administrative and clerical support to various departments within the hospital, including Diagnostic Imaging, Physiotherapy, Respiratory Therapy, Diabetes Education, Clinical Nutrition, and Speech and Language Pathology.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering phones, managing appointments, and greeting patients.
  • Utilize your proficiency in Meditech to efficiently schedule appointments, manage patient records, and process financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient files, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and staff members to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment through teamwork and effective communication.
Your Qualifications:
  • Secondary School Commercial or Equivalent with Receptionist and Clerical Skills
  • Medical Office Administration Certificate (or related program)
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Meditech.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
