**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Radiation Technologist (CT Technologist) to join our team at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow and reduce wait times.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on imaging procedures and techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, applying this knowledge to improve patient care.
**Requirements:**
- Current certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) in Ontario.
- Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (OAMRT) is an asset.
- Previous experience with CT scanning and other imaging modalities is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Physical stamina to perform the demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting patients.
