Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the service center, ensuring effective communication and workflow among staff.
- Manage employee schedules, payroll, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure sufficient staffing and resources are available to meet service demands.
- Promote and enforce health and safety protocols within the team.
- Maintain up-to-date certifications for all technicians.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of necessary components.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians and monitor their productivity.
- Adjust schedules based on workload and operational needs.
- Continuously assess departmental workloads and request additional resources when necessary.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance service efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Address and resolve inquiries from mobile technicians regarding assignments and operational issues.
- Ensure accuracy in customer invoicing and timely billing processes.
- Uphold fleet management standards and vehicle operation policies.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a college program in logistics or a related business field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Proven management experience with a focus on team leadership.
- Experience in a dispatch or service environment is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of the transportation sector and temperature control systems.
- Proficient understanding of temperature control equipment operations.
- Experience with health and safety regulations.
- Strong initiative and capability to manage a high volume of tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
