Job Title: Garage Supervisor

Abebe Auto Service Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Garage Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our garage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 employees and provide guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties.
  • Worksite Environment: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Task Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, prepare production and other reports, and resolve work problems.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit and hire workers, train or arrange for training, and recommend personnel actions.
  • Estimation and Operations: Estimate costs and materials, operate CADD and other computer software systems, and manage own company.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Working Conditions:
  • Worksite: Outdoors, noisy, and dusty environment.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
Security and Safety:
  • Criminal Record Check: Required.
Personal Suitability:
  • Client Focus: Excellent client focus and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent support to colleagues.
Screening Questions:
  • Availability: Available for shift or on-call work and willing to relocate for this position.
