Job Title: Secondary LTO: Self Paced Learning

We are seeking a qualified teacher to fill a Long Term Occasional (LTO) position in Self Paced Learning at the Halton District School Board.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Self Paced Learning to students in the Intermediate and Senior grades. The position is available for the 24-25 school year and will be filled on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Self Paced Learning to students in the Intermediate and Senior grades
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
Requirements:
  • Intermediate and Senior English qualifications
  • At least two (2) different Senior teachable subjects
  • Valid OCT certificate in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
