Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Service Attendant to join our team at the City of Burnaby. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Point of Sale cash registers and process transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
  • Maintain a clean and safe food preparation and serving area
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
Requirements
  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
