Position Overview: Senior Business Analyst – Yardi
Location: Vancouver, BC / Toronto, ON
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements, processes, and rules to drive effective business solutions.
- Support the design and redesign of technology by interpreting and clarifying business requirements and processes, assessing the impact of changes on other functional processes and systems.
- Lead or assist in developing business cases, return on investments (ROIs), and other project-related documentation with input from key stakeholders.
- Investigate and analyze opportunities to enhance business efficiencies and optimize the use of QuadReal Enterprise Applications.
- Facilitate or assist in the system selection process and support related activities, including implementation and ongoing support.
- Create, execute, and document test cases/test scripts to validate system modifications, providing a framework for end-user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate and assist business users in resolving daily support issues related to application software and operational systems.
- Support project teams and business representatives throughout various projects.
- Develop and maintain user guides, manuals, and other relevant materials.
- Design training materials and conduct training sessions for users.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a complex real estate services environment.
- Experience in analyzing, troubleshooting, and supporting multiple enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with Yardi's Voyager (specifically Investment Accounting and InvestorPlus), Elevate, and other related applications is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the real estate sector and its key business processes.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional documentation capabilities.
- Proficient in problem-solving and building customer relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Strong facilitation and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to apply practical business analysis and project management best practices.
- Experience in change management is a plus.
- Process re-engineering experience is also beneficial.
- Adaptable to ongoing changes in a dynamic environment.
- Effective time management skills, capable of working under pressure and managing tight deadlines, multiple demands, and competing priorities.
