Job Title: Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Lex Metal Fabricators Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, preparing bank reconciliations, and performing financial calculations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing clients and collecting payments
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and review financial data for accuracy
  • Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting
  • Store, update, and retrieve financial data
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Reliability and attention to detail
