Position Overview

The Facilities Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the management and maintenance of the property, including all mechanical systems, structures, and equipment. This role involves delegating tasks to team members, ranging from basic repairs to complex technical work such as electrical and HVAC systems. The Facilities Engineering Supervisor must possess a comprehensive understanding of various physical assets and their maintenance requirements. Responsibilities may extend to vehicles, electrical systems, office equipment, and furnishings. Effective forecasting and planning for new equipment needs are also critical components of this role, alongside adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Conducting facility inspections
  2. Evaluating electrical systems
  3. Recruiting maintenance personnel
  4. Procurement of parts and supplies
  5. Documenting daily maintenance activities
  6. Assigning work tasks
  7. Training new and existing team members
  8. Coordinating with service providers and contractors
  9. Creating work schedules
  10. Executing essential and emergency repairs
  11. Performing hands-on maintenance tasks
  12. Completing additional duties as necessary
Qualifications
