Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor at PRESCOTT SMOKESHOP & GROCERY INC. involves overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service, ensuring a high standard of quality and efficiency.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary education or equivalent experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff regarding their job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and cost assessments.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Compile and submit operational reports as required.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Oversee food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Manage kitchen and food service assistants.
