Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Overview:

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service within the establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, management, and culinary skills to ensure that high standards of quality and safety are maintained.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement work schedules for staff
  • Oversee and guide food preparation personnel
  • Conduct training sessions on job responsibilities and safety protocols
  • Calculate and forecast ingredient and supply needs
  • Ensure compliance with quality control measures
  • Manage financial aspects including budgets and cost projections
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and waste
  • Prepare and present operational reports
Supervisory Duties:
  • Direct food service counter attendants and food preparers
  • Oversee kitchen and food service support staff
