Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A & W. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including budget and cost estimates.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and manual tasks.
