Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Overview:

The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service within the establishment. This role requires a blend of leadership, management, and culinary skills to ensure a high standard of service.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement work schedules for staff
  • Supervise and guide food preparation personnel
  • Conduct training sessions on operational duties and safety protocols
  • Assess and estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies needed
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards
  • Manage financial budgets and prepare cost estimates
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and waste
  • Compile and submit operational reports
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Oversee food service counter attendants and food preparers
  • Manage kitchen and food service assistants
