As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling postal products and services, sorting and distributing mail, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Service: Sell postal products and services to customers, including mail and package delivery, postage, and other services.
- Mail and Package Handling: Sort, distribute, and process mail and packages into appropriate classifications.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Problem-Solving: Address delivery and service difficulties to resolve problems thoroughly and quickly.
- Education: High school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration.
- Experience: Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
- Skills: Understanding of general or post office accounting systems, and physical ability to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time.
