LTO - 0.1 Planning Time, P, Day 1 Afternoon Teacher

We are seeking a qualified teacher to fill a 0.1 FTE Long-Term Occasional (LTO) position for planning time, P, Day 1 afternoon.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction, training, and evaluation of student progress in the assigned subjects. They will also be responsible for managing the class or classes and reporting to the principal on student progress as requested.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective instruction, training, and evaluation of student progress in assigned subjects
- Manage the class or classes and report to the principal on student progress as requested
- Carry out supervisory duties and instructional programs assigned by the principal
- Cooperate with the principal and other teachers to establish and maintain consistent disciplinary practices in the school
- Ensure that report cards are fully and properly completed and processed in accordance with provincial guidelines
- Participate in regular meetings with parents or guardians
- Perform duties as assigned by the principal in relation to co-operative placements of students
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality instruction and support to students. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
