Electrical Technician - Metalforming Specialist

Job Overview:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues in metalforming equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use programmable logic control systems (PLC's) to program and troubleshoot automated equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical and engineering blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical operations, fire protection systems, emergency generators, and HVAC systems.
  • Experience with electrical power distribution and use of hand and power tools.
  • Flexibility for work assignments and effective communication with team members.
  • Ability to work alone and perform heavy lifting and work at heights.

Requirements:

  • Industrial (442A) and/or construction maintenance (309A) electrician license is required.
  • Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Robotics field and/or 2-3+ years of related experience is an asset.
