Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Cloud Nine Bar & Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Develop and implement efficient food preparation and presentation methods to meet customer expectations.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality food service.
  • Inventory Management
    • Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Monitor and control food costs to ensure profitability.
  • Staff Supervision and Development
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and address any issues.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high quality standards.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify and address any issues.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff follow proper health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Conduct regular health and safety inspections to identify and address any issues.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience
      • Experience in a kitchen management role is an asset.
