Job Summary

The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping services.
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Coordinate the inspection of assigned areas to ensure that all rooms and public areas meet the required standards.
  • Coordinate contract services to ensure that all necessary services are provided to the hotel.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and schedules for the housekeeping department.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out at all times.
  • Respond to guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 40 hours per week.
