Position Overview:

As a Trailer Wash Operations Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team within a leading agricultural enterprise. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and operational readiness of our fleet.

HyLife, a prominent player in the pork production industry, is committed to fostering the growth of its employees in a supportive environment.

This position is under the supervision of the Western Operations Manager.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently wash and schedule trailers in the wash bay
  • Reassemble and equip trailers with necessary tools for subsequent loads
  • Complete all custom washing services as required
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and biosecurity measures as per company guidelines
  • Conduct general maintenance and report any significant issues to the maintenance team
  • Ensure availability of drivers' and washers' clothing at all times

Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Capability to work independently and solve problems effectively
  • Commitment to food safety and workplace safety
  • Class 1 license is an advantage
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Previous experience in a wash bay setting is beneficial
