About the Role

Skip, a leading global online food delivery marketplace, is seeking an energetic and technical rockstar to join our team as Lead, Business Operations Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our internal stakeholders with data-driven insights to inform decision making and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with various business stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze data, and develop actionable recommendations to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, automation, and data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide data administration support, including data mapping, transformation, and reporting.
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings and stakeholders on various projects.
  • Lead in developing and sustaining regular reporting on business strategies and KPIs.
  • Create and deliver weekly/monthly/yearly metrics and reviews, combining all business metrics, impacts, and outcomes.
  • Identify sources of inaccuracy and develop action plans to close the gaps.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports based on business needs, interpreting market trends for leadership.
  • Gather data, analyze, document, and draw conclusions using complex data, systems, and information.
  • Provide and identify analytical opportunities to measure and optimize activities and effectiveness.
  • Build models to measure and monitor results, supporting decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with various teams to analyze and drive process improvements, develop business forecasts, and potential pivots based on data and trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, or Computer Science, with 5+ years of relevant experience as a Business/Data Analyst.
  • Experience querying large datasets using Python.
  • Experience in Project Management is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce and strong proficiency working with Google Suite, SQL, Jira, Tableau, and other data analytic/reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze the business, provide sound suggestions to improve efficiencies and processes.
  • Results-oriented to define goals and support with metrics, develop actionable and scalable plans with a sense of urgency.
  • Data storytelling master.
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven competencies are essential.
  • Excellent team player with ability to work cross-departmentally.
  • Positive attitude with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong work ethic with superior attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Ambitious, and knows how to work well alongside other high-performers while being eager to support teammates.
  • Receptive to coaching and strives for constant self-improvement.
  • Able to understand and communicate data, insights, and trends, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influencing the decision-making process.
