The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our business units in making informed decisions by providing financial analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development of financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement financial systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.
  • Provide financial support to business units to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Commerce or Business.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting and finance experience.
  • Advanced level skills in MS Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
