Job Summary:

The Certified Field Trainer will play a critical role in the development and growth of our Pest Control Specialists. This position is responsible for conducting on-the-job training, providing peer support, and ensuring the successful completion of our Field Training Certification Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Training: Conduct on-the-job training with new hires during their first 6 weeks, ensuring completion of weekly Field Training Checklists.
  • Peer Support: Provide weekly check-ins and monthly meet-ups with new hires during their first year, completing associated documentation for records.
  • Training Certification: Successfully complete the Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program, with biannual recertification.

Additional Job Duties:

  • Training and Development: Conduct ride-alongs for job candidates during the interview process, arrive on time and prepared for training, effectively train skills and provide ample feedback in a timely manner, and communicate weekly with Trainee's Manager.
  • Peer Support and Mentorship: Develop a solid working relationship with Trainees, be available by phone or text to answer questions, help shape expectations, and facilitate a successful transition from Trainee to productive employee.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:

  • At least 1 year of experience with Rentokil North America as a Pest Specialist.
  • Fully-trained according to Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5).
  • Licensed with appropriate state/province applicator license and categories.
  • Favorable ratings from most recent Annual Performance Review.
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner.
