Job Summary:This is a Casual opportunity that requires a high level of technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will provide direct citizen support for Interior Health's digital tools, including MyHealthPortal, patient online booking tools, and technologies that support virtual care services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct support for MyHealthPortal, including citizen enrolment, access management, basic troubleshooting, and escalating advanced support requests.
- Support online patient booking tools, including booking and modifying appointments, account maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Provide direct citizen support and basic level technical troubleshooting for technologies and applications that support virtual care services.
- Grant patients access to their electronic health information, based on established identity check procedures, and collaborate with Health Records department when required.
- Identify anomalies in the electronic patient record and refer to the attention of the Manager or designate.
- Calculate and report statistical information related to support provided.
- Assist with promoting Interior Health digital tools and participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
- Completion of Grade 12
- A current Typing Test of 45 wpm or greater completed within past 48 months from a recognized institution
- Resume and Cover Letter stating availability to start in a new position
