Cage and Slots Operations Supervisor

Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Manager of Slots, Cage, and Guest Services, this role is accountable for overseeing the daily operations of the slots and cage department during assigned shifts. The position aims to foster a secure and inviting work atmosphere for all employees. Responsibilities include assisting in the strategic planning and management of slots operations, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of motivation and leadership by example. This role also involves supporting the development of performance goals and conducting performance assessments, as well as aiding in the rollout of new initiatives within the slots operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Contributes to the formulation of team member performance goals and evaluations Organizes and oversees team member schedules; adjusts timesheets for payroll purposes Monitors work assignments during shifts Addresses customer complaints; documents irregularities, disputes, and suspicious activities; prepares incident reports as necessary Manages slot inventories and ensures adequate supplies Communicates effectively with relevant operational departments Builds and maintains strong relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, ownership, and team members Ensures adherence to licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and other legal requirements Oversees additional initiatives as neededQualifications and Skills
Post-secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience is preferred At least 2 years of experience in slot or cage operations Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role Certification in Serving it Right Capability to successfully obtain a Gaming License Proven ability to exceed both internal and external customer expectations through prompt, effective, and service-oriented communication Proficiency in MS Office applicationsWork Environment Considerations
