Count Team Lead

This role is responsible for the counting and movement of cash assets from the gaming floor under the direct supervision of the Count Supervisor, Manager, Cage or the Supervisor, Slot & Cage. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivate and lead by example, and support the learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Responsibilities- Counting and Verification: Count bills, coins, and cash equivalents, and verify and reconcile before and after counts.
- Storage and Security: Organize and secure the storage of count carts, drop boxes, drop buckets, and bill cartridges for count pulls.
- Cash Reporting: Report suspect cash and cash equivalents, and provide information for reporting purposes.
- Transportation and Security: Bag, bundle, secure, and transport counts.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments, and build strong working relationships with internal and external guests.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume cash handling and counting
- Licensing: Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
This role is based in a back office environment, requiring standing or sitting for long periods of time, and non-traditional work hours.
