Position Overview

The Shift Manager, Slots, Cage and GS is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the slots and Cage operation on a shift basis. This role establishes and contributes to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. The successful candidate will assist with the planning and directing of slots operations, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures. They will motivate and lead by example, and assist in providing a learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement performance objectives and deliver performance evaluations
  • Schedule and supervise team members; edit timesheets for payroll
  • Monitor shift work assignments and resolve customer disputes
  • Prepare CRS Incident Reports and maintain slot inventories and supplies
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with operational departments
  • Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in slot or cage operations
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
  • Serving it Right Certification
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming License
  • Excellent communication and computer skills

Work Environment

  • Regular casino environment with non-traditional work hours
