Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of supplies and operate machinery as needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
As a Bakery Team Member, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Physical Demands: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination are essential.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, excellent oral communication, and a team player are required.
