Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at Con Gusto Artisan Bakery. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and prepare special orders.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, inspect kitchen and food service areas, and organize and maintain inventory.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve bakery goals and objectives.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and perform manual dexterity tasks.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, reliable, and a team player.
