About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Production Scheduling: Draw up production schedules to ensure efficient and timely production of baked goods.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality baked goods.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and producing high-quality baked goods.
