Job Summary:

Gordon Food Service is seeking a skilled and reliable AZ Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by building and maintaining quality relationships with our customers.

  • Operate straight trucks or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials over urban, short inter-urban and rural routes.

  • Conduct routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintain accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets and incident reporting.

  • Perform product delivery verification at the customer location and maintain customer invoices.

  • Follow health and safety and safe work procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1/AZ driver's license with a clean commercial driver's abstract.

  • Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs).

  • Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency.

  • Previous professional driving experience is preferred.

  • Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions.
