At Trillium Recycling Inc., we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Route Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions using computer equipment and GPS devices.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Load and unload goods with care and attention to detail.
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes.
  • Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent vehicle breakdowns.
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
