Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Trillium Recycling Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, while ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Optimization: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing professional and courteous service.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
