Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to be a key member of our growing Sales team. The Business Development Specialists drive impact at Recharge by identifying and qualifying a high number of quality leads and communicating Recharge's value proposition to prospective merchants during the initial phase of the sales process.
We are looking for Volume. Your responsibility will be to produce leads, book demos and prep a sale for close by prospecting, researching and qualifying prospective clients. We have clear paths forward to Sales or Partnerships and champion those who bring their best to the team every day.
Start ups aren't for everyone - being unafraid to fail fast and jump up faster takes grit.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential clients within the ecommerce space.
- Develop and execute a prospecting strategy to generate leads.
- Conduct research on target accounts and industries.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers at prospective companies.
- Present Recharge's value proposition and solutions to potential clients.
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations.
- Track and manage leads through the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably within the SaaS industry.
- Strong understanding of the ecommerce landscape and subscription models.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with potential clients.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
