Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at 1309996 Ont Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and train a team of 3-4 kitchen staff, including food and beverage servers and kitchen helpers.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to meet the needs of our restaurant.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food to our customers.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping and Inventory
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Certifications and Training
    • Ensure that all staff members have the necessary certifications, such as Smart Serve and Safe Food Handling.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma from a 1 to 2-year program.
  • Experience
    • 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting
    • Food service establishment, Restaurant.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Flexibility, Team player.
